Quest versus PCVR rooms after the shutdown
A room that only sang on a 3090 will not come back as a phone lobby. Say the target hardware on the archive page before you promise a reopen.
Rebuild for the device your players still have. After Rec Room, that is often a phone or a cheap headset, not a PC VR tower. Desktop-first social is a valid choice — advertise it.

If the joke needed 40 moving lights, the joke is gone on mobile. Design a smaller punchline.
Screenshots from a high-end capture will lie about the rebuild. Add a phone shot.
VRChat is not a free upgrade
Moving to VRChat can make sense for PCVR rooms. It is a different audience and a different moderation job. Do not treat it as the default after June 2026.

Yes if they are real. A “Quest coming soon” that has been coming since 2024 is a museum label too.
What if I only have PCVR footage?
Say so. Players can still remember the room. They should not buy hardware from a caption.
