Circuits versus a static archive of a Rec Room
A screenshot captures how a room looked. It does not capture the circuits that made it a game. Say which you have. A lobby that used to be a mode will feel empty if you only restored walls.
Openrooms can host a page and, if you have a local build, a space. It cannot invent the gadget graph from a photo. Teach new players what still works.
Label the rebuild
“Looks like the old lobby, no game mode yet” is a fair listing. “Fully restored” is not, if the circuits died.
Desktop-first social games can still be fun as hangouts. Do not oversell a shooter that is now a museum.
Local copies are the only logic backup
If you exported before the close, bring that. Circuits were never in the PNG.

Not in a way you should trust. Rebuild the rules you remember, then test them.
Should I delay publishing until the mode works?
Publish the hangout if people will use it. Keep the mode on a public roadmap on the same page.
