Rec Room events you cannot rehost from a screenshot
A scheduled event was a server, a list, and a moment. Openrooms can hold a room page. It cannot resurrect the instance that closed with the platform.
If you saved a layout, publish the space and a new calendar. Tell people the old event series is over. Nostalgia that promises the same instance is how you lose trust twice.
What actually survived
Local copies, exports, and screenshots of rooms. Not the live event graph, not the RSVP list, not the inventory people brought that night.
Claim the handle, then put the next gathering on a door you control.
Do not clone the old branding
Openrooms is independent. Rec Room’s wordmark is not yours to reuse on a poster for a “reunion instance.” Describe the new room in your words.

Can I import an event calendar?
Not from the old servers. Nobody can. Recreate dates from your own notes.
What about recorded clips?
Clips are memory. They are not a room. Link them on the page if you own them.
