A Rec Room friends list did not export
Social graphs lived on the old servers. Openrooms cannot reconstruct who you used to hang out with. Handles you remember are the seed; public room pages are the hallway.
Claim your name, publish a room, and tell people on the channels you still own. Do not wait for a magical import of a graph that nobody has.
Start from the audience you can still reach
Discord, a group chat, an email list, a video channel. Those are yours. The in-world friends list was not.
A smaller platform with paying creators will not match 2018’s coincidence traffic. That is the honest size.
Doors, not a feed
Open the room. Put the name on it. A social VR replacement that only works if the old graph comes back will not open.
