Moderation you now have to run yourself
Rec Room’s report button left with Rec Room. If you open a rebuilt room, you are the moderator. Age gates and a mute are product, not extras.
Write three rules, name who can enforce them, and keep a way to close the door. Openrooms can host the page. It cannot staff your lobby.
Smaller is safer
A serious space for the players you actually know beats a public recreation of a 200-person party room you cannot watch.
Do not copy their safety theatre
You are not Rec Room. Do not put their wordmark on a fake report flow. Say how to reach you, and mean it.

Do I need an age gate?
If the old room was mixed-age or the new one is public, yes. You inherited the risk when you reopened the name.
What if I only publish a static archive?
Comments and copycats still show up. A report email on the page is the minimum.
